Pressure Relief & Sustaining Valve
Pressure Relief & Sustaining Valve is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm actuated control valve that can fulfill either of two separate functions. When installed in-line, it sustains minimum pre-set, upstream (back) pressure regardless of fluctuating flow or varying downstream pressure.
Pressure Sustaining Valves serve the purpose of maintaining pressure in a fluid circuit by opening only as much as required to maintain the required pressure on their inlet port.
Pressure relief valve serve the purpose of releasing the high pressure in front of the valve that exceeds the set pressure of the valve out of the system pipeline, so as to prevent the high pressure or sudden pressure in the pipeline from damaging the pipeline and equipment in front of the valve.
