Riser Clamps
A riser clamp, also named extension pipe, is a pipe clamp for the support of vertical pipelines, and they include separate load bolts, to transfer the piping load to the remainder of the pipe hanger assembly. Generally, clevis hangers include a yoke that connects to your support overhead.
Riser Clamps are used by mechanical building trades to support and stabilize vertical runs of piping at each floor level.
Riser clamps are placed around pipe, and then fasteners are tightened to clamp them onto the pipe. They are usually located at floor penetration.
Riser clamps transfer the weight of the pipe through the riser to the building structure.
The light duty riser clamp features an electro-galvanized finish. It is for light duty plumbing and mechanical projects.
