Our British Wet Pillar Fire Hydrant is a robust above-ground firefighting water supply unit designed and manufactured in full compliance with BS EN 14384 and BS 750 standards. As a wet barrel type, the hydrant remains permanently filled with pressurized water, enabling immediate connection and use by fire brigades without priming or draining.
Constructed from high-grade ductile iron, the body ensures exceptional structural integrity and resistance to impact and weathering. It features two independent 2.5" BS336 instantaneous landing valves with brass/gunmetal internals for reliable, drip-tight shut-off. The hydrant is finished in a durable red epoxy coating (RAL 3000) for maximum corrosion protection.
Suitable for non-freezing climates, it is widely installed in municipal networks, industrial complexes, airports, and ports across the UK, Commonwealth, and Middle East regions.
