Beam clamps, which are also known as girder clamps or beam adapter, is used to suspend or secure fixtures, wires, threaded rods, and other hardware. It provides a simple and portable means of attaching a hoist to a runway or lifting beam.

Top Beam Clamps are designed to secure all  wide channels, or threaded rod, to beams or supports for the purpose of running piping, conduit or tubing. All fittings are manufactured from  thick carbon steel or cast malleable iron. Recommended for use under roof installations with bar joist type construction where thickness of joist does not exceed 5/8 inch. Specify model, rod size and finish when ordering. • Function: Structural attachment to top or bottom of metal beams, purlins, channel, or angle iron. 3/8" is reversible design . 1/2" is only for top position .(screw on bottom)
  

• Features: Complies with Federal Specifications A-A-1192A (Type 19) and Manufacturers’ Standardization Society ANSI/MSS SPSP-58 (Type 19) which supersedes ANSI/MSS SP-69. Setscrew must be tightened and torqued onto the sloped side of the I beam.Service: Clamps onto beam flange to anchor vertical threaded rod.
